Mentor & Educator

He teaches the dentists who refer to him.

Dr. Nahlah is adjunct faculty at Virginia Commonwealth University, teaching the residents in its Prosthodontics Postgraduate Program: the dentists who are themselves training to become prosthodontists.

He was a clinical instructor at UCSF School of Dentistry before relocating, and still runs hands-on courses for other dentists.

In 2018 he founded the Tysons Study Club, a quarterly symposium for dentists, by dentists.

Immediate placement

Implants placed at the time of extraction where the case allows, removing a healing phase and a separate surgery.

Computer-guided surgery

Placement through a surgical guide generated from the cone-beam scan, so each post lands at the planned angle and depth.

Digital impressions

Scanned rather than moulded, which removes a step patients dislike and a source of dimensional error.

Restoration of implants

The half most surgeons hand off. Planning and restoring in the same practice is the reason the final teeth match the plan.
